About me

With over 20 years of experience, Aleksandra designs with a single vision: to delight users. Her expertise encompasses the whole user experience from digital interactions to full scale in-store experience analysis, service blueprinting and design and is reflected in her large range of work: Starting with digital designs, typefaces and icons for mobile phones at Motorola, to designing digital in-store experiences at Sears/Kmart to developing guidelines for marketing campaigns and everything in between.
Aleksandra leads with strategic thinking and a passion for compelling storytelling. She understands that how a concept is framed and presented is just as vital as the design itself. She believes that design- whether done poorly or exceptionally - is an emotional calatyst. Good design is not just pretty or functional, it does both and more. Great design makes people cuss less and smile more.
Based in the Chicago suburb of Hoffman Estates, Aleksandra shares her home with her son Michael, her cat Mickey, and her chickens. When she isn't tackling a DIY project or sketching furniture ideas, you can find her gardening, practicing pickleball, or volunteering at the Cook County Forest Preserves.
